The Golden State Warriors closed the half on an 8-0 run to take a lead into the half against the Indiana Pacers. The run was one of the few big stretches of success the Warriors have have had against the Pacers' starters, but as one of the familiar stories of the season, the Pacers bench wasn't able to step up to keep the success going. Indiana had fought back from a 10-point fourth quarter deficit to take the lead late in the quarter.
Lance Stephenson and David West led the way early for the Pacers, Stephenson finished the half with eight points as West had a team high nine. George Hill played big throughout the second quarter to come up with nine, and Roy Hibbert finished strong with eight of his own. The Pacers are shooting 39%, but are in the game thanks to smart play with the ball, the final possession of the half notwithstanding.
