Pacers Final Score: Timberwolves Finish Pacers 96-94

The Indiana Pacers gave themselves opportunities late to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, but tiny Pacers miscues snowballed into huge plays for Minnesota to give them a 96-94 win on their home floor. The Pacers struggled early, but were able to take a lead into halftime with a solid second quarter from Lance Stephenson. Indiana struggled with fouls in the third quarter, lending the Timberwolves 17 free throw attempts while the Pacers could only get four of their own putting the Pacers down five after three.

Once in the fourth quarter, the Pacers offense came around, as George Hill led the way for an Indiana comeback, but struggled to close the gap on defense. David West finally notched the game at 86, but after an Alexey Schved basket, Paul George allowed his inbound pass to be stolen, resulting in another easy two for Minnesota. But the Pacers continued to fight with it, as Hill converted an and one to draw Indiana within three with 33 seconds remaining. Roy Hibbert altered Nikola Pekovic's shot, as Hill once again came up big drilling a cold three pointer with just under four seconds to go to tie the game.

Seconds from overtime, the Pacers needed a stop, but Gerald Green lost Chase Budinger on the inbounds, as he scorched inside for an easy layup, sealing the Minnesota victory. The last second collapse diminished a 29-point night from George Hill who also had seven assists and a 19 & 13 game from David West.
