Pacers up 43-40 over Kings at halftime

A quick start from David West and the starters helped to give the Indiana Pacers an early 18-7 lead over the Sacramento Kings, but the Pacers second unit, with a little help from Jimmer Fredette, allowed the Kings to close the quarter on a 10-2 run. The Pacers and Kings swapped up throughout the second quarter, the Pacers struggling to find consistent offense.

Indiana ran through D.J. Augustin and Sam Young for stretches, a strategy that didn't net the Pacers much success, but a strong close to the half from George Hill allowed the Pacers to pull back into the lead. West is the only player in double figures with 15 points. Hill has seven. DeMarcus Cousins leads the Kings with nine points and eight rebounds.
