The Indiana Pacers will play just their second game in the past seven days when they resume play against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.
All of the practice time arrived at a good time for the Pacers as they desperately seek ways to improve their offense. Against the Kings, the Pacers strong defense will be put to the test thanks to some speedy guards in Aaron Brooks and Isaiah Thomas and the beast that is DeMarcus Cousins.
Plus, the Pacers have to account for Marcus Thornton off the bench. Thornton almost single-handedly kept the Kings in the game when the two teams met earlier in the year in Indy. Thornton scored 26 points and that game went into double-OT before the Pacers secured the win. Expecting not less the battle at Sleep Train Arena as we all try to stave off sleep to watch the game with a late tip time.
