The Indiana Pacers look to put a frustrating 1-1 start on the road behind them with a little home cooking in front of a gold-clad Bankers Life Fieldhouse crowd on Saturday night.
Both teams should be surly coming off losses on Friday night. Of course, the Pacers came up a bucket short in Charlotte last night, as turnovers and missed free throws highlighted the problems leading to the loss for Indiana.
Meanwhile up in Minnesota, the Kings had to endure another home opener for the Timberwolves and simply couldn't keep up with Minnestoa as J.J. Barea came off the bench to dump 21 points on the Kings and help Minny win, 92-80.
The Pacers know all about Sacramento's young talent after dropping a loss on the road to the Kings last season in their only meeting. The same young talent remains on the roster which means the Pacers will have to take care of their own business, not to mention the ball, and play well enough to win.
Pretty simple, really.
