The Indiana Pacers take on the Los Angeles Lakers at STAPLES Center on Tuesday night to begin four consecutive road games.
With Mike D'Antoni now guiding the Lakers a big question heading into this game surrounds whether or not the Pacers defense, which remains ranked second based on defensive efficiency, can keep the Lakers offense from running up the score. The Lakers have scored more than 100 points in six of their seven wins which makes that a nifty number to shoot for in limiting the Lakers.
The worse problem, though is that the Pacers offensive efficiency ranks third to last at 96.0, so limiting the Lakers to under 100 points probably won't do the trick unless the Pacers newly implemented offense starts showing some results and showing 'em quickly.
