This is one back-to-back the Indiana Pacers should welcome. The Pacers play the Washington Wizards a day after a brutal showing against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.
The Pacers held on to beat the Wizards 89-85 back on November 10th and the Wiz remain winless heading into the tip on Monday night at the Verizon Center. So while the Pacers should be motivated to make up for lost time in New York, the Wizards will have even more motivation as they try to avoid a franchise worst 0-9 start in front of their home fans.
Sounds like some great entertainment, no? Well, I guess desperation can bring out some entertaining basketball, I just hope the Pacers actually play like they are desperate to win.
