The Indiana Pacers play a rare Sunday afternoon game against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.
The Pacers hope to build off of a strong win over Dallas on Friday which saw a balanced offensive attack compliment another strong defensive effort. While the bench broke out to help put away the Mavs, there were also signs of life from Roy Hibbert in the middle.
After struggling early, Hibbert made a few buckets in the second half and actually loosened up a little bit on the court. The big fella will have his hands full with the deep, veteran front court the Knicks have to offer.
Former Hoosier Mike Woodson is enjoying all of the veteran savvy he has to work with while coaching the Knicks this season as Jason Kidd, Rasheed Wallace and Kurt Thomas join Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony to give the Knicks a deep group of pros who know how to play in the NBA.
The Knicks have been the top team in the league at both ends of the court which has made winning look easy until the Knicks finally lost a game in their last game at Memphis. Not much has been easy for the Pacers this season and it will take a monster effort to leave the Garden with a win.
