Pacers cruise over Mavericks 103-83

The Pacers finally shook loose all the early struggles with a solid winning effort.

The Indiana Pacers rolled through the second half, running away from the Dallas Mavericks in what is without question the team's best performance of the year. Indiana opened the game on a 7-0 run, but the Mavs responded, leading to a back and forth battle between the two teams throughout the first half. The Pacers finally got their offense together in the third quarter, Lance Stephenson and Sam Young led the way as the Pacers flipped the script on their poor game in Milwaukee with a dominating second half showcase that led to a 103-83 victory.

Six Pacers reached double figures, George Hill and David West leading the way with 15. Sam Young had 14 on 6-11 shooting while Lance Stephenson pitched in 12, 10 of those in the third quarter. Roy Hibbert had one of his best quarters of the year, scoring seven of his 14 in the final period adding eight rebounds and two blocks. Paul George had 11, Tyler Hansbrough eight, and Ian Mahinmi seven. The Pacers assisted on 23 of their 39 field goals, Hill leading the way with seven, and D.J. Augustin pitching in four.
