Indiana Pacers had another close game, this time coming out on the winning end with a pair of game sealing free throws.

The Indiana Pacers continue to live life on the edge, turning in a "just good enough" effort to beat the Washington Wizards 89-85. The game was defined early by some short runs by both teams, the Pacers using 7-0 runs to close out the first two quarters. Lance Stephenson was given his second career start, rewarding the choice with 12 points on 5-7 shooting. Paul George led all scorers with a season high of 20, also shooting at a high level, 8-12 himself.

While Stephenson and George shot well, the opposite was true of David West and Roy Hibbert, who were a combined 7-31 from the floor, with plenty of hitting front iron or just not getting a home roll. West finished with 11 and Hibbert had seven with 12 rebounds. Gerald Green played well off the bench, scoring 15 with eight rebounds.

A.J. Price returned to Bankers Life Fieldhouse as a member of the Wizards, piecing together a 12 point, 14 assist double double. Bradley Beal and Emeka Okafor led the still winless Wizards with 17. The win wasn't pretty, but it snapped the team's three game losing streak, improving them to 2-0 at home.
