Happy NBA Opening Night!

The NBA regular season tips off on Tuesday with a trio of games including the Boston Celtics visiting the Miami Heat. The Indiana Pacers open the season against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday and their Halloween tip off won't be as scary with starting point guard George Hill back in the lineup.

After missing every preseason game, G3 plans to start the regular season at point guard for the Pacers after returning to practice this week to get ready for the opener.

"You're never going to feel like yourself the first day back, but I feel a lot better being out there than sitting down," he said.

Hill is recovering from a left thumb injury and a right hip pointer, but he expects to be in the starting lineup when the season opens Wednesday night in Toronto.

Hill also took pride in taking down Danny Granger in the team's 3-point shooting contest at the Fan Jam event on Sunday. G3 must've had that Broad Ripple stroke going to make sure he quieted Granger's trash talking. Lest anyone forget, Hill was a prolific scorer in high school, leading the state by scoring by averaging over 36 points per game his senior year for the Rockets.
