Pacers Final Score: Magic Roll Pacers, 112-96

Douglas Jones-US PRESSWIRE

The Indiana Pacers struggled in just about every way possible as they fell hard to the Orlando Magic in a lopsided affair, losing 112-96. The Pacers shortened their bench, playing a nine-man rotation through much of the game. They used a surge at the beginning of the second quarter to briefly take a lead, but Orlando controlled the rest of the game. Tyler Hansbrough led the way for the blue and gold with 23 points on 6-11 shooting and 11-13 from the free throw line. The Pacers struggled to get to the line and also struggled with shooting, a cold 40% sunk by an abysmal 1-17 from the three point arc.

The Pacers' defense was equally atrocious, allowing the Magic to shoot 55% and generally control what they wanted on the offensive end. Five Pacers reached double figures, but solid efforts from David West and Gerald Green were ultimately overshadowed by a 6-21 shooting exhibition from Paul George. Glen Davis led the way for the victorious Magic with 21. Indiana will back in Indianapolis tomorrow to host the Memphis Grizzlies in the team's first televised game on Fox Sports Indiana.
