Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel played his "it's only preseason" card in the team's first practice game in Fargo on Tuesday night. George Hill and David West were healthy scratches along with Danny Granger who is also essentially a healthy scratch, since the team is just minimizing his preseason activity.
But for those players that did see the court, it wasn't pretty. Not much good comes from a game including 27 fouls and 24 turnovers. At least, the new faces in new places have officially played together, albeit some in playing rotations that won't make it out of training camp. But that's what the preseason is for. PG and George Hill summed it up well on their way home last night.
Yessir we will be ok!!! gotta work RT @king24george: Tough loss but its preseason.. A lot of things to work on! Fun to play ball again tho!
