The Indiana Pacers take on the Miami Heat tonight on South Beach looking to lift their level of play and notch a signature win in the infant stages of this NBA season. Dwyane Wade is a game-time decision for the Heat but all indications remain that he will miss this game to rest a foot injury. The Heat play tomorrow night in a re-match against the Atlanta Hawks on TNT so Wade may be saving himself for the bright lights.
Regardless, if he doesn't go tonight I'd expect former Pacers James Jones to start at shooting guard, although we might have some interesting matchups when the Pacers are playing Darren Collison and George Hill, the Heat can throw rookie Norris Cole in with Mario Chalmers and cause some problems. Cole, out of Cleveland State, has been fantastic running the point off the bench for the Heat scoring 11.7 points and adding 3.2 assists in about 22 minutes per game.
For the Pacers, Tyler Hansbrgouh's left hand is fine and he will play and they also hope to have Jeff Foster available off the bench to further fortify the front court. Should be fun.
