As Mike Wells pointed out yesterday, Lance Stephenson will be wearing street clothes from here on out for the Indiana Pacers. Who knows what his future holds with the Pacers, but this is the best situation for everyone in the organization for the time being. Stephenson needs to know he can't say/do anything he pleases, especially since he is a rookie, and maybe this demotion helps his maturity. On the other hand, the players and organization in general need to focus on the game and only the game. It will be nice seeing T.J. Ford out there a bit this week against the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic. He has handled his situation wonderfully, and I admire him for doing so. Hopefully he will be there for guidance when needed to Darren Collison and A.J. Price.
