The Pacers are coming off a tumultuous end to a fail-filled road trip that left the team looking for answers. After hashing things out, the players should be jacked and ready to go for the game tonight against the Sixers, a team the Pacers hold out hope that they can catch in the standings. If the Pacers don't come out jacked up and reayd to play then it's time to check for a pulse.
The Sixers have been rollin' of late, playing solid ball really since the first of the year. In fact, the Sixers are 19-10 since New Year's Day and have won 8 of their last 10 games. Philly's schedule in the past 10 games has been relatively easy, but there's no shame in getting it done.
The Pacers can win the season series giving them the tie-breaker on the outside chance the blue and gold get rolling again and make one last run at the Sixers. But at this point, winning one game, this game, is all that matters. Once again, the second units will be big. Philly's bench pumped in 67 points in their last win and they boast a consistent scoring boost which has helped solidify the Sixers' level of play over the past couple of months.
