IC Cold Links: Mark Boyle To Call 2000th Pacers Game Tonight

Radio play-by-play legend for the Indiana Pacers, Mark Boyle will call his 2,000th game tonight when the Pacers host the Detroit Pistons at Conseco Fieldhouse.

I've often said Boyle's radio call provides HD-quality visuals for the listener and it's true. His call always makes it easy to envision the action on the court no matter where you may be listening. A rare skill Boyle has brought to Pacers fans since he started calling games back in 1988.

Consider Boyle the anti-Jermaine O'Neal of broadcasters. He brings the goods every night along with a flair for the dramatic. So congratulations to Mark for showing up and talking and in the process becoming an iconic cult hero for Pacers fans around the globe.

After the jump, a few links of interest including news on Mike Dunleavy looking ready to return to action and Danny Granger looking real old.
