Appears easy enough on paper but how it plays out on the court could be anything but easy. First of all, there's no warning for when the Pacers show up with an inexplicably poor effort. But with the strong scent of the playoffs in the air, focus and effort shouldn't be an issue tonight.
The Kings just beat Milwaukee two nights ago and according to Frank Vogel in his preview on Pacers.com, the Kings have been in the lead or tied in fourth quarter for 45 of their 52 losses. That seems border-line insane but indicates they will force the Pacers to beat them.
Plus, since coming over at the trade deadline, Marcus Thornton has been incredible for Sacramento. After working his way into the starting lineup, the Kings' shooting guard is averaging 22 points. Should be a great test for Paul George and Brandon Rush. If they can combine to match Thornton, either by limiting his points or scoring along with him, then the Pacers should be in great shape.
Here is the Pacers.com preview.
