The Indiana Pacers visit the Charlotte Bobcats tonight for a critical matchup between two teams battling for the final playoff spot in the East. Well, battling may be a little strong, but both teams are still in the mix which should make tonight's game have a playoff feel.

At least you would hope so. Judging from the quotes in today's stories on the game, the Pacers are well aware that this is a "huge" game. But talking about it is one thing, playing like it is a huge game is another. The Nets game was huge, too but the Pacers came out playing poorly.

Charlotte continues dealing with injuries that have hampered their play of late after shipping out Gerald Wallace at the trade deadline. Stephen Jackson tweaked his hammy earlier today and is doubtful for tonight so even if he tries to give it a go, it will be a struggle. Tyrus Thomas has started playing again and comes off the bench along with former IU all-around-good-dude, D.J. White who has seen consistent minutes and put up decent numbers in March after joining Charlotte at the trade deadline.

Here is the preview.
