The Indiana Pacers face a wounded and motivated foe in the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight from Quicken Loans Arena.

Cleveland has lost 21 straight games and the bulk of those losses were never in doubt. In fact, of the 21 losses only two ended as less than one-possession deficit, the last time being a 103-101 loss to New Jersey a little over a week ago. As for the rest, most have been double-digit losses, including some absolute morale busters to the likes of Miami, Denver, Utah and the L.A. Lakers.

With such a brutal schedule, there's no doubt the Cavs have been looking forward to this game with the struggling Pacers as a real chance to end their losing streak. The Pacers will have to be ready for a monumental effort from the Cavs on their home floor.

But it's not like the Cavs are just missing LeBron James from last year's team. They've also been without Anderson Varejao, Mo Williams, Leon Powe and Boobie Gibson. Plus, Anthony Parker has been in and out with injury. It appears Parker may start his first game since early January when a sore back put him on the shelf.

The Pacers should be equally motivated as they play their first game under interim head coach Frank Vogel. As the Pacers continue to try to turn things around themselves, this is a great opportunity to secure another win and try to build up some confidence and momentum to get back in the playoff hunt in the Eastern Conference.
