Pacers Title Odds Improve Slightly After Adding West, Miami Heat Remains Team To Beat

New, comments

A few weeks ago, Bodog.com released their initial NBA championship odds for every NBA team. Well, much has changed since then, including Bodog which is now Bovada, and with the addition of David West the Indiana Pacers are no longer 100 to 1 long shots to win the title.

Instead the Pacers are 75 to 1 long shots to win it all which ranks them eighth among Eastern Conference teams. Seems like the oddsmakers are holding out room for the New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets to make a big move before it's all said and done.

The Chris Paul trade had to make anyone who put something down on the Los Angeles Clippers before the trade pretty happy as the Clips odds jumped from 40 to 1 to 15 to 1. As expected the New Orleans Hornets went the other way, dropping from 75 to 1 to 150 to 1. Ouch.

After the jump, check out all of the odds.
