The Indiana Pacers are finally back in action tonight when they host the San Antonio Spurs. The Pacers have been off since last Sunday which is like a month in NBA-season time.

The Spurs on the other hand have already played two games this week, losing to the Knicks and Celtics, meaning they arrive at Conseco Fieldhouse riding their first two-game losing streak so far this season. Even with the two straight losses, the Spurs maintain the best record in the league at 29-6, so they could surely absorb another loss tonight. Former Broad Ripple/IUPUI star, George Hill continues to play a big role for the Spurs, playing heavy minutes off the bench.

Tonight's game ushers in a new era in Pacers' basketball with Tyler Hansbrough making his first start of the season (2nd career start). Of course, there's a pretty broad range of possibilities for the Hansbrough-starting era's best-case andworse-case scenario, somewhere around 10 years on the positive end and 6 minutes on the negative side.

Here is the Pacers.com preview.
