After meeting with doctors yesterday, Indiana Pacers second-year forward Tyler Hansbrough was cleared to participate in full-contact workouts which will allow him to return to the basketball court and play for the first time since January.
Mike Wells also reports that A.J. Price, recovering from major knee surgery, has been cleared to participate in camp with no restrictions.
Not only is this great news for the players but it is fabulous news for the Pacers. With everyone ready for training camp, the workouts should be plenty competitive, forcing spots in the playing rotation to be earned on the court.
