Finally, we have some legitimate playoff intrigue.
Last night the Phoenix Suns evened up the Western Conference finals by simply outscoring the Los Angeles Lakers. I know, every team that wins outscores their opponent, but this was just a solid offensive effort from the Suns which included a bench-boosting effort with the reserves pitching in 54 points and knocking down 9 of 20 3-balls.
The beauty of this game was that Kobe Bryant was brilliant, efficiently doing his thing and scoring points, including a couple of 3-pointers, that no human could possibly defend. Literally a thrill-a-minute game.
Looking forward to tonight's Game 5 matchup with the Magic and Celtics. We'll see if the Orlando can grab another chunk of momentum, keep the series alive and set up a monster Game 6 in Boston.
