The Indiana Pacers return home after a 1-3 road trip to take on the Milwaukee Bucks at Conseco Fieldhouse tonight.
The Bucks arrive trending upward after four straight wins, putting the team solidly in playoff contention with a .500 record. Brandon Jennings has been the buzz-worthy player for the Bucks this year after bursting onto the scene with some huge games early in the season, but ormer first overall pick, Andrew Bogut has been playing up to his lofty draft status of late, as well. In the past four wins, the Ausie center has posted some big double-doubles, including 24 and 20 against the Knicks and 26 and 13 last night against the Hornets.
The Bucks have won both meetings between the two teams so far and the last time at the Fieldhouse, Bogut threw up 31 and 18 en route to the three-point win. Any hopes for a Pacers' win starts with generating some points which of course means knocking down shots. Wonder what would happen if the Pacers tried getting Roy Hibbert going early? Force Bogut to play a little defense, who knows, maybe lure him into a couple of fouls. Just trying to think outside the box here.
