The Indiana Pacers are back in action tonight at the Fieldhouse when they take on the Charlotte Bobcats. Of course, that means old friends Larry Brown and Stephen Jackson will be major players. Unfortunately, Jack is trying to tone down his on-court act while adjusting the the NBA's emphasis on improving interactions with the officials. That's no fun.

The game should be fun, though, with Charlotte among the teams chasing the Pacers from the middle of the Eastern Conference pack. The Bobcats have struggled to start the season, pointing toward defensive inconsistency as the main culprit much the way the Pacers complain about their offense holding them back.

The Pacers have been real good offensively at the Fieldhouse this year, especially following painful losses, so hopefully that trend holds up tonight.

But enough from me, go check out the game preview at Pacers.com which includes assistant coach, Frank Vogel breaking down the keys to the game for the Pacers. Absolute gold, with three keys to watch on offense and defense for a successful night for the Pacers.

Also, Stephen Jackson will be on with XL 950AM with Derek Schultz at 4:45pm today.

For a Charlotte perspective, check Rufus On Fire and Queen City Hoops.
