The Pacers are trying to prove doubters wrong this week. We can all breathe a sigh of relief, no letdown last night! The Pacers played as though they believed they were the better team. There have been a number of times in the past when the Pacers have played down to the level of their opponent. They showed no such characteristic last night, and even played with a swagger that showed through continual pounding of the Cavaliers.
The Pacers take their 7-6 record and give thanks for a couple days of rest after an emotional and exciting few days. They will sit back, eat, and watch some football (and hopefully some tape on the Thunder!). They will take on Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday while both teams are trying to build confidence and establish who they are on a consistent basis. After a 3-3 start, the Thunder have one seven of their past 8 games and are hungry for more (luckily they have Thanksgiving tomorrow!).
After the jump check out some positive reaction to the game from Indianapolis perspective, Cleveland's take on where we both stand, and the possibility of Big Roy leading the pack for Most Improved Player!
