The Indiana Pacers face a familiar situation tonight when the 1-11 Los Angeles Clipper limp into Conseco Fieldhouse. Hopefully they've learned from the past.
Earlier this season, Milwaukee and Houston arrived struggling to win games and missing their starting center. Houston was also without their starting point guard. Both teams got better against the Pacers while the home team couldn't take advantage of the situation.
So tonight the Clippers come in with only one win and without their starting center (Chris Kaman) and point guard (Baron Davis). Unlike the Bucks and Rockets, though, the Clips are filling the gaps with a full-on youth movement starting three rookies alongside Eric Gordon and young big man, DeAndre Jordan. They haven't been horrible either. Consider last night when EJ went for 30 and Blake Griffin added 26 points and 17 rebounds, yet they still lost at the buzzer.
Still, the outcome of this game should be up to the Pacers and their ability to execute and make themselves tough to defend.
