In a case of every little bit helps, the Indiana Pacers moved the opening tip time for their game on Saturday, January 16th against the New Orleans Hornets from 7:00PM to 6:00PM.
Thanks to the NFL paying no mind to anything going on in the home towns of their playoff teams, the Indianapolis Colts first playoff game on the same night is slated for 8:15PM a few blocks away from Conseco Fieldhouse. Unfortunately, both the Pacers and Hornets play on the road Friday night, so moving the game time up much further would make it tough on both teams since they will have to travel to Indy after the Friday night game.
