The Indiana Pacers will try to avoid their third straight loss by winning their third straight road game this evening when they take on the Toronto Raptors at the Air Canada Centre.
In their last meeting, the Pacers erased a 23-point first half deficit to win at the Fieldhouse. Coach Jim O'Brien went small in the second half which seemed to turn the game in the Pacers' favor. I'm assuming JOB will return to the small lineup to begin tonight's game although which flavor of small is always up for debate. Since Andrea Bargnani is not nicknamed "Bangnani" and prefers hovering around the 3-point arc, Troy Murphy will likey get the start at center.
After being put in their place by the Lakers and Cavaliers earlier this week, the Pacers should be plenty ready to burst out with a strong effort tonight. Considering the Raptors are 6-2 since the teams last met, a strong effort by the Pacers is their only chance for a win.
