The Indiana Pacers host the Detroit Pistons tonight a night after falling out of the playoff race. Friday night's results in the NBA took care of any remaining drama for tonight's game becuse since Detroit won their game against the Nets and Charlotte dumped a roadie at Oklahoma City, the Pistons clinched their spot in the playoffs. Sure would've been nice to at least play spoiler for one night, but instead pride is all that remains at stake tonight.

Here are the Matchups.

For the Detroit perspective, check out the latest SB Nation blog, Motown String Music. Also, don't miss Detroit Bad Boys and Need4Sheed.

  • Mike Wells reports on the Pacers losing in Atlanta and thus officially missing the playoffs for the third straight year.
  • Pacers Notebook has more on Clark Kellogg calling the NCAA championship game, Danny Granger guarding Joe Johnson and Troy Murphy matching Kellogg's club double-double mark.
  • In his Pacers Insider post, Mike wonders if the young players will get more significant minutes in the remaining three games.

Leave your thoughts and observations on the game in the comments. I'm going to try to scrounge up a couple of tickets to take Cornrows, Jr. to the game tonight so I'll be checking in after the game.
