The Indiana Pacers return to work after a little holiday break, leaving the good cheer behind while looking a losing streak in the eye. Nothing but a great effort tonight will change their losing ways, when the Atlanta Hawks arrive at the Fieldhouse under the guide of local legend, Mike Woodson.
I'll be keeping an eye on Mike Dunleavy to see how he bounces back after a little rest. Reviewing those last two games of the 4-in-5 grind, Dunleavy look pretty weary which showed up in his production. As long as the issue is weariness, then there aren't any problems. That should be expected as 17 works his way back into NBA shape.
The Hawks have lost two of their last three, but are still 8-3 in December so far, remaining a lethal combination of a tough perimeter guard and a hyper-athletic front court.
