Johnny Davis will make his case to be the Pacers next head coach this week. J.D. has head coaching experience, compiling a less than impressive 73-144 record while coaching some poor teams in Philly and Orlando. Can flaming out with bad teams make you a better coach?
"You can crash and burn, or you can crash and learn," he said. "I chose to learn from those situations. I feel I'm ready for the next step again."
Davis could be the classic safety net choice if the coaching search goes awry. And, yes, I think wins are the ultimate entertainment.
