The Pacers are in New Jersey tonight still in control of their playoff destiny. Should they stumble again tonight and lose to the Nets, they will end up needing some help from other teams over the last few weeks of the season to keep their streak of playoff seasons alive.
My confidence level heading into tonight's game is at rock bottom. Since the Pacers day-to-day actions (on and off the court) are impossible to predict, my current feeling may be a good thing.
J.O. limped through the end of the game last night against the Cavs. He tweaked his ankle which in turn tweaked his knee. As he's done for the past several weeks, J.O. is planning to get on the court tonight and give it a go.
Hopefully his supporting cast will give an equally valiant effort.
