Bruno's latest Caught in the Web focuses on the position battles after the team made it through its first practice. Point guard and center should be where all the action is as JOB expects his starters to earn the honor. Also, Mike Dunleavy sat out the first practice with a sore knee despite the hopes yesterday that he would give it a go. *still early...not panicking*

Here is the press conference story from Mike Wells. A change in culture and leadership remain the themes of the day. I like this quote from JOB on TJ Ford and Jarrett Jack. "Both (Ford and Jack) said separately, 'You have no worries about my ability to communicate loudly what needs to be done on the basketball court, in practice and in the games,' " O'Brien said. "Frankly that's what every coach looks for. I think last year, guys got tired of listening to my voice because we had a weakness that people on our team did not want to own their own team. I think . . . they understand that a good team is one that is owned by the players."
