It also states there are $4 million in incentives so initially it's 4 years $46million. Apparently, Batum wants to be a slasher and creator, not just a lock down defender and corner three shooter. Kind of makes me glad we didn't go after him. He wanted to be another high usage player.

Roy, 27 and a three-time All-Star, sat out all of last year because of bad knees. He was a free agent because Portland used its amnesty clause on him.

The source said the Wolves were satisfied with everything Roy verbalized to them about his health.

He underwent a version of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, which is helping him to resume playing. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is one of a handful of athletes who have undergone a comparable procedure in Germany to help prolong their careers.

Snoop Dogg, renowned as a Los Angeles Lakers fan, has been performing in Australia this past week. Whilst welcoming in the New Year in Adelaide, at the Summadayze Festival (Rymill Park), he represented recently fallen Portland Trail Blazers star Brandon Roy by wearing his jersey.
