Artest and Jackson Will Start Season by Sittin' Seven

The NBA suspended Ronnie and Jax seven games a piece for their respective tours through the legal system in recently. This marks the second time in their careers that Ronnie and Jax were both suspended at the same time. I haven't done the research but I figure two players being suspended on the same day on two separate occasions has to be a first. At least this time those suspensions won't alter the Pacers lineup.

You can say that now. I can't which sucks because I was really hoping Petrie could move Ron-Ron before the season started. Egads.

What really kills me

is that Geoff Petrie got quoted in the bee as wanting Ron back next season(in sunday the 15th's edition). I'm like huh????? This makes no sense. At least the Pacers didn't have a stupid offseason like the Kings have had (so far).
