Vecsey Keeps Pushing J.O. to L.A.

Peter Vecsey has his story on the possible Lakers/Pacers deal in today's NY Post. Here's how the deal began to germinate in classic Vecsey-ese:

Within the last week, the Pacers and Lakers have laid the groundwork for a trade that would certainly placate both sorrowful All-Stars. L.A. inquired about O'Neal - another fake franchise player pocketing maximum money on the prowl for someone to save him from losing. And was told he was available. Indiana let it be known the Lakers have ample assets (players and/or picks) to make a fair deal.
Lamar Odom has to be involved because of the numbers but Andrew Bynum better be included or the Pacers won't have much to show for J.O. Of course, there could be more deals to come or more teams involved. I think it is too much to ask for Tinsley to be involved in this also. Vecsey is actually treading pretty lightly (for him) with this information. While many discout Vecsey's info, he has a pretty solid track record with speculation involving the Pacers and this story is huge so I'm willing to give it ample consideration.

Sorry cornrows youre reaching bro
I hate to say it mayne cuz you write a good blog. It's your job to say it's possible. I just have a hard time believing the lakers will give up bynum in this deal. Bynum is very young and O'neal is kobe's age. It seems quite risky to bridge any real chance of winning for the future with Bynum for a shot to win at it now. The lakers would be a missing piece away from that happening still as they are now. That was a story Vescey seems to be trying to stick to the wall. Oh and 1 last thing bro. If they do give up Bynum that means they dont think they'll probably reach the potential. It might mean they feel Bynum is a real stiff and he can get them better possible return. Either way this is bad news for the pacers.

J.O for L.O
Anything we get for O'Neal is OK with me.  If the Lakers take him they will quickly find that his stats are built against chumps and that he will be come up a stiff against the likes of Duncan.  Just make sure Kwame doesn't come back in the deal.

JO for Odom, Bynum, and any of their guys with only a year left.....how about Farmer or Walton?

I like it...I like it alot
