Open Game Thread: Pacers vs. Bucks

The Pacers game tonight is a must win game and, as Bruno's preview explains, winning plus some help will be needed for the Pacers to make the playoffs. The Pacers can only control the winning part so this game requires their full attention. A few made shots would be nice, too. Despite all of their injuries, the Bucks will put enough players on the court to win the game if the Pacers don't play or shoot well.

Couple of interesting items in the Indy Star today. First, Kravitz brushes off his J.O. will/should leave or be traded at the end of the year column with some fresh quotes from J.O. I don't blame Kravitz for re-writing the same story over and over again, I feel like I wrote last night's game recap 40 times before. J.O. has indeed given every ounce of his basketball playing heart and soul this year. When questioned about his future, J.O. deferred nicely.

"I'd be cheating myself, cheating this team, this organization and the city if I was thinking about my future," he said. "What's going to happen next year or the next eight years, that's something that's going to play itself out, whether the organization makes a decision or I make a decision."

Then he added, "My thing is, I've always wanted to finish my career here."

Here's another item I found humorous in the Pacers Notebook Etc. section.

Point guard Jamaal Tinsley missed his third straight game with a bruised right elbow. . . . The Pacers committed only six turnovers. . . . Shawne Williams had 11 points and six rebounds in 19 minutes.

I wondered if the first two statements were meant to be separated or kept together.
