Line of the Night: Opening Night Nod

Logo LoNny is pumped for the start of the 2007-08 season and ready to analyze all of the NBA boxes to give his nod of approval to the Line of the Night. The nod is rooted in the classic fantasy stats, so look for impressive numbers in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, and 3-balls when considering the nightly nod. Oh, and when in doubt, multiple 3-ball splashes always make a persuasive case.

LoNny didn't take long to gravitate to Kobe Bryant and the first big line of the year. What do you know? Kobe puts up a big line and the Lakers lose, this time 95-93 to the Rockets. One man can only do so much in this league, but it sure is fun to watch.

Player PTS REB ASST BLK STL 3-PT
Kobe Bryant 45 8 4 1 4 1

Who do you think deserved the nod from LoNny last night?

Kirilenko's line should not be overlooked!

9 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, 5 blocks

The 5 blocks were huge
Seemed like he had more than 5 blocks.
