The Indiana Pacers head to their personal house of horrors to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night at Philips Arena. The Pacers have not only struggled to beat the Hawks in Atlanta the past few years (lost last eight at Atlanta) they have rarely come close.
The Hawks have lost three straight games and continue playing without Al Horford after he suffered a shoulder injury when the Hawks played at the Fieldhouse. After he left that game, the Pacers were able to keep Joe Johnson and Josh Smith in check and cruise to an impressive win. Just winning tonight will be impressive will also depend on the Pacers ability to keep Johnson and Smith in check.

The Indiana Pacers take on the Utah Jazz tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It will mark the first time this season that the Pacers have played consecutive home games. The Pacers will also try to avoid losing two games in a row for the first time this season. One "first" is enough for one evening, don't you think?
The Jazz arrive struggling of late having lost three of their last four games. Their active front court with Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap will be a challenge for the Pacers. Plus, second-year power forward Derrick Favors remains inconsistent but has improved his game quite a bit since his rookie season providing some depth off the bench.
Roy Hibbert is due for a big game after struggling with foul trouble against Dwight Howard on Saturday. All of the Pacers struggled to a certain extent against the Magic but should be fresh and ready to go tonight.

The Indiana Pacers are back home among the madness of the Super Bowl Village to host the Orlando Magic on Saturday night. Friday night was absolutely packed downtown so hopefully 18,000 of those folks will fill the Fieldhouse tonight.
The Pacers and Magic have split their two games so far with the Magic winning the first game played at the Fieldhouse. In that game, the Pacers started strong but then let the Orlando shooters get comfortable and they all caught fire and handed the Pacers their only home loss.
The Pacers have been pretty good at making opponents uncomfortable in a variety of ways so they will need to find something that works tonight to make sure Hedo Turkoglu, Ryan Anderson and company aren't making a difference from behind the arc. They they just have to deal with Dwight Howard.
The Magic will be busing in from Cincinnati with no local rooms available for the overnight stay. They will also be missing point guard Jameer Nelson and reserve big man, Glen Davis. The Pacers will continue playing without Jeff Foster and George Hill.

The Indiana Pacers wrap up the first third of the season tonight on the road at the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavs have been dealing with some nagging injuries but appear to everyone except point guard Jason Kidd available tonight. Former Pacers coach Rick Carlisle was dinged $35,000 today for Nick Nolte-ing the ball in frustration during the Mavs loss to Oklahoma City on Wednesday. Well, it was a little less passive than Nolte, but Carlisle know you never want to involve fans in the stands with your frustrations.
The Pacers are riding high heading into Dallas which is never a good thing since they seem to play better when things don't appear to be going well. Also not good is the fact that George Hill and Jeff Foster remain out for the Pacers. The bench has bucked up in the past two wins and they'll need to help keep the Mavs on the run tonight since you know Jason Terry will be ready to go off the bench for Dallas.

The Indiana Pacers look for their third win in a row when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.
The teams split their two games last year but the Pacers played arguably their worst game of the year after Frank Vogel took over at Minnesota in the midst of a six-game losing streak. The Wolves have weapons that can cause the Pacers problems and with rookie Ricky Rubio added to the mix this year the Pacers defense will be put to the test.
The Pacers will be without George Hill, so hopefully Rubio doesn't lure Lance Stephenson into a no-look passing game of anything you can do I can do better. Although, as long as the Pacers win that could be pretty entertaining. Jeff Foster was ruled out last night and is listed as day-to-day in Minnesota so I'll take that as some good news.

The Indiana Pacers take on the New Jersey Nets tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as they try to build a little momentum by winning consecutive games for the first time since beating Golden State and the Los Angeles Lakers to end the West Coast road trip.
The Nets have won their last two games on the road, including and impressive effort to win at Philadelphia, but they struggled in their last outing, losing at home to the Toronto Raptors 94-73, a game in which they lost some fire power in rookie MarShon Brooks and DeShawn Stevenson. Both are expected to miss the game tonight leaving Jordan Farmar and Sundiata Gaines to step up in their absence. D-League call up Larry Owens may get the start at small forward since the Nets prefer bringing Shawne Williams off the bench.
The Pacers should have an advantage in the front court with Brook Lopez missing in the middle for the Nets. That is, assuming Roy Hibbert doesn't have any lingering issues from getting his nose straightened out yesterday. The Pacers were hoping to have Jeff Foster back tonight but his back still has him listed as out for the game. The Pacers will be paying homage to their ABA past by wearing throwback uniforms for the game tonight.

The Indiana Pacers try to avenge a home loss earlier in the week when they face the Orlando Magic on Sunday evening.
The Pacers looked out of sorts in Boston as they struggled to get anything going against the Celtics when it mattered in the second half. The Pacers were ambushed by the Magic in their last meeting when Orlando caught fire from the perimeter in the second half. The Pacers may catch a break as the deadliest of the Magic shooters in the previous game, Ryan Anderson may no be available tonight.
As usual, the Pacers' fate is left in their hands as they are fully aware of the winning formula of playing tough defense and sharing the wealth on offense but still need to find a way to execute at both ends of the floor.

The Indiana Pacers play the Boston Celtics for the third time in three weeks looking to remain unbeaten on the parquet while the C's are hoping the third time is the charm after losing the first two meetings.
The Celtics have been on a bit of a roll lately, winning their last three games and four of five while dealing with some injuries. Last night the C's beat Orlando without Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen and Jermaine O'Neal so they may not have the familiar look again tonight, but beating any team three times in a row is a chore no matter who is playing.

The Indiana Pacers get a shot at rapid redemption against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night after falling apart at home last night against the Orlando Magic. Of course, the Bulls present plenty of problems and a much better effort by the Blue and Gold tonight may still result in a loss.
Derrick Rose returned to the court on Monday after dealing with a toe injury that had him miss a few games and survived without issue, so he should be ready to attack the Pacers as usual tonight. The Bulls will be without forwards Luol Deng and Taj Gibson which is a definite bonus for the Pacers, but they need to find a way to get some production out of the second unit to make depth a factor.

The Indiana Pacers take on the Orlando Magic tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in a key matchup between two teams off to strong starts in the Eastern Conference.
Orlando may take issue with that last statement considering they were drubbed by a short-handed Boston Celtics team last night playing without Ray Allen or Rajon Rondo. Still, only managing to score 56 points. Not good news for the Pacers as you can expect the Magic to show a little pride and bounce back with a better effort tonight.
Of course, the big matchup to watch will be Roy Hibbert dealing with a broken nose and Dwight Howard. Sounds like Hibbert will mask up for the game to take on Superman so hopefully it doesn't mess with his mojo. With the next three games on the road, the Pacers need to maintain the home Fieldhouse advantage they've enjoyed so far this season.
