Okay, so I know that he is not the long-term solution, but hear me out. I think getting Nelson is the perfect fit for the Pacers at this time. Many of us say that if we get a good PG then our offense will vastly improve. Well, what better way to test that theory than on a proven veteran point guard? We can start him at the PG spot and move Hill to a 6th man role. If it works, great, we may be able to move past the Eastern Conference Finals (assuming our bench is improved and Hibbert plays the way he is supposed to). If it doesn't work out, then we will know there is something wrong with the current team we have and we may need to make some drastic changes.
