Potential FA Targets

From the article:

1. Lance Stephenson

2. Dragic or Bledsoe

Pacers would likely have to give up Hibbert to make this work out. Suns need a C. Len/Plumlee could come back in the deal. I'd take Len and bring him along slowly.

3. Paul Pierce.

Not gonna happen.

4. Jodie Meeks or Anthony Morrow

Whether Lance is signed or not, Anthonly Morrow should be target #2. If the Pacers don't get a 3pt shooter/scorer for the bench, then it's gonna be another fruitless post-season.

5.Humphries/Jordan Hill/Blatche/Big Baby

Cope should be the backup 4. I don't see how any of these guys help and are likely gonna cost too much.

6. Shawn Marion/Sofalosha

Always been a fan of Shawn Marion. He's lost a few steps, but is still a good defender. Sounds like he wants to stay in Dallas though. I think Solomon Hill can offer what these guys can and will cost less.

I'm all for trading Hibbert for Bledsoe and Len. Not sure Pheonix would seriously entertain that though. However, that would be hella awesome. I don't think Bledsoe makes more than $10-12M/yr due to injury concerns. I don't think he'll get the $15M max.

If the Pacers were to get Bledsoe or even Dragic, Lance doesn't make sense then. Bledsoe needs the ball and so does PG. Lance would also need the having 3 guys that need the ball in their hands is a recipe for disaster. You'd need a spot up shooter to fill his place. I think you try and sign and trade Lance for a piece if it makes sense. I'd love Gorgui Dieng....

That much needed shooter is Anthony Morrow and his 45% 3pt shooting.

Len or other FA signing

Just need a more athletic C that can rebound and possibly block shots. That's it! Bledsoe provides a huge lift in defense from the pg position while somone that can get his own shot and facilitate others. Morrow provides that much needed 3pt shooting that's been missing from the Pacers the past few seasons.
