Paul George had 37 points to lead the Pacers in a do or die game, scoring 21 points in the fourth quarter as the Pacers survived 15 Miami three pointers.

In a thrilling Game 5, the Indiana Pacers overcame an awful second quarter and double digit second half deficit to defeat the Miami Heat to keep their season alive. The Pacers had just 33 first half points, including 11 in the second quarter, but came together for 31 in the third quarter, getting 21 points from Paul George in the fourth quarter to weather an unholy barrage of three pointers from Miami (15-31) to win 93-90 as they trail the series 3-2.

George exploded in the second half with 31 second half points as part of 37 total, including 21 in the fourth quarter, shooting 8-10 from the floor to go with six rebounds and six steals. David West put in 19 points, but both missed some crucial free throws down the stretch to allow Miami to stay alive. The Pacers were just 13-22 from the free throw line. Roy Hibbert had a 10 point, 13 rebound double double (six offensive boards). LeBron James had just seven points on 2-10 shooting, getting hampered with foul trouble, picking up his fifth with 8:30 in the third quarter.

Indiana will travel back to Miami for Game 6 on Friday.
