The Indiana Pacers played well enough to win for 43 minutes, but faltered down the stretch late with a series of turnovers leading to the Miami Heat taking control of the game in the final five. The Pacers led 75-72 when the Heat ran off a 10-0 run to go up by seven. A continued lack of contribution from the bench eventually caught up with Indiana, scoring just nine points. The starters couldn't come up with enough to match the big play late from Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.
Lance Stephenson was a huge lift for the Pacers, leading them with 25 points on 10-16 leading the way in the third quarter, but wasn't able to make an impact in the fourth quarter. Paul George and David West were just 9-32 shooting. Wade and James had 22 of Miami's 25 points in the quarter, as the Heat won the final quarter 25-20.
