The Pacers and Heat will hit a dramatic fork in the road in the Eastern Conference finals depending on which team wins. Conventional wisdom seems to indicate the Heat will name their number, go big with a possible start by Birdman Andersen, and just play. With LeBron James back in a familiar role on the perimeter LBJ can attack like only he can.

Of course, the Pacers have been complacent in this type of position all year, but this is different. Their respect level for what is required to beat the Heat changes the dynamic. Their response to the Game 1 win was as if they had the lead after the first quarter. Still have three quarters to go in this game.

Of course, Frank Vogel is staying positive. Instead of responding to how the Pacers deal with an improved effort from the Heat, Vogel said he expects his team to play better, as well.

Joey Crawford is reffing the game which will add some additional drama to the theatrics already inherent in this matchup. Contrary to wild Twitter rumors, LeBron isn't dominant when Crawford is reffing. In fact, he's called one game in each of the past two series and the Pacers won both games.
