The Indiana Pacers gotta break out and have a huge game at home some time, right? One of those nights when BLF is rocking and the shots a dropping.
Game 5 against the Hawks sounds like a good time for one of those "everything is working" games that we have yet to see from the Pacers in the first four games. Believe me, I realize we may not see another one of those games this year, but it seems like if the Pacers can put together a solid first half, they will be able to get rolling at home and take control of the series. So far, the Pacers have gotten by on micro bursts of quality play to earn their two wins after falling behind the Hawks earlier in the game. It is about time for a wire-to-wire W.
On the Hawks side, they are surely thinking it is time for a breakout shooting performance. one of those games when Kyle Korver knocks down six of eight threes and has the opponent's defense scrambling all night with Jeff Teague attacking the paint.
Needless to say, the winner of Game 5 has a huge advantage. Last year in Game 5 with the Hawks at the Fieldhouse, David West scored 24 points and the Pacers rolled to a 106-83 before putting the series away in Game 6 at Atlanta.
