NBA Playoffs halftime score: Hawks lead Pacers 39-38

The Indiana Pacers have struggled offensively in Game 3 against the Atlanta Hawks, but have kept themselves afloat due to their own defensive efforts. The Hawks shot just 30% in the first half, nearly eight percentage points lower than the Pacers, but hold a lead thanks to a 13-6 advantage at the free throw line. The Pacers have been playing from behind all night, holding a brief 38-37 lead, but trail 39-38 at the break.

David West is the only Pacer in double figures with 12 points with C.J. Watson scored six. Paul George went scoreless in the half after sitting a majority of the first quarter with foul trouble. Paul Millsap has 10 to lead Atlanta, but is 2-9 and Jeff Teague has seven on 3-10 shooting. The Hawks are 2-16 from three point range.
