It's a familiar script for the Atlanta Hawks, who have hit eight three pointers in the first half, shot 50%, and have gotten another outstanding half from Jeff Teague (12 points, five rebounds, four assists) as they have kept the Indiana Pacers at arms' length the entire second quarter. The Pacers looked sharp in the opening minutes, but the Hawks quickly adjusted and put Indiana in an 11-point hole in the second quarter.
The Pacers have gotten little from their starting lineup short of Paul George, who leads the way with 12 points, five assists, and three steals. The Pacers bench scored 26 points, led by Luis Scola with 13 points and C.J. Watson with nine points, but struggled to keep the game in Indiana's favor. Paul Millsap has 15 points. A huge second half with Indiana's season on the line coming up.
