Pacers final score: Pacers hold off Pistons 101-94

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Paul George had 27 as the Pacers shoot 49% as they snap a three game losing streak, topping Detroit. Lance Stephenson's spark in the first half helped lift the Pacers to the win.

Things finally came together for the Indiana Pacers, who snapped a three game losing streak against the Detroit Pistons, winning 101-94 and snapping a number of bad streaks in addition to their three straight losses. Indiana trailed early, but found life thanks to Lance Stephenson, who scored, assisted, and rebounded the Pacers to a 10-0 run that put them ahead 45-40 late in the first half. The Pacers had trouble shaking Detroit, who killed Indiana on the offensive glass with 17 boards leading to 14 extra shot attempts.

Detroit also had six second half threes to keep the game close as Paul George hit big shots down the stretch to push Indiana into the win column. George led the Pacers with 27 points and 13 rebounds as part of a double double with seven assists and a pair of steals. All five starters reached double figures with David West scoring 15 on 7-10 shooting, George Hill scoring 12, and Lance Stephenson and Roy Hibbert each reaching 11. Ian Mahinmi led the bench with 10 points. Indiana shot 49.4% en route to their first 100 point game since March 15.
